July 13 : "Broadway Barks"

This new story and song y Bernadette Peters tells of the mishaps of a dog named Kramer who loses his home, becomes a stray, then is rescued.

Kramer's story is one that shows our interdependent web of existence and how we can maintain compassion and care for all living things. The importance of rescue work and the proper care of animals is underscored. We'll use of a pet dog for demonstration of proper care.
